About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our independent agents to resolve claims in a timely and fair manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, gathering and analyzing evidence to determine the validity of claims
  • Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and assess the extent of damages
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine the extent of liability
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software and company resources to adjust losses in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to insureds and claimants
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of claims handling experience, preferably in a multi-line insurance environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with insureds, claimants, and internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with insureds, claimants, and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
