Job Description:

The Construction Operations Manager will play a crucial role in strategizing and improving performance, material procurement, and resources. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordination: Review and correct employee timecards, high-level scheduling, and resource management.
  • Employee Engagement: Interview, hire, terminate employees, provide fair and honest assessments, and communicate development programs.
  • Tools/Equipment/Safety: Safely work in all conditions, maintain records and certifications, and approve equipment, material, and inventory purchases.
  • Project Management: Review bids and estimates, attend project review meetings, and perform performance reviews on subcontractors.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Acts with integrity and professionalism.
  • Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business Preferred.
  • Experience: As an Operations Manager or Project Manager Preferred.
  • A basic understanding of Standard and Metric measurement systems is preferred.
  • Ability to lead projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others.
  • Detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work.
  • Takes accountability for performance and results.
  • Ability to manage a budget and apply financial acumen.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead change.

Compensation:

A competitive compensation package will be offered to the right candidate, including a base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities based on company performance.
