We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Paralegal and Office Manager to join our team at The Perillo Group. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our attorneys and clients in commercial real estate transactions and corporate law matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Paralegal Duties:
- Draft and review lease documents, including lease amendments, lease termination agreements, and lease summaries.
- Prepare and file entity formations, foreign registrations, amendments, dissolutions, and other filings with the Secretary of State.
- Draft corporate maintenance documents, such as operating agreements, amendments, corporate resolutions, and written consents.
- Manage commercial real estate due diligence for acquisitions and sales, including reviewing surveys and title reports, preparing due diligence trackers, drafting title objection letters, and coordinating with buyers, sellers, title, and escrow for document execution and delivery.
- Research legal matters and provide support to clients and attorneys in preparing, revising, formatting, and finalizing legal documents.
- Office Manager Duties:
- Take ownership of firm-wide administrative functions, communicating with attorneys and bringing action items forward to the appropriate individual's attention.
- Prepare client invoices and monthly billing, inputting time charges into billing software.
- Monitor, order, and organize office supplies, anticipating requirements.
- Maintain office equipment through preventive maintenance, monitoring operation, troubleshooting failures, and working with outside IT when necessary.
Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Paralegal certificate or relevant experience in commercial real estate transactions and corporate matters.
- Ability to multitask and find/implement solutions to issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient technical skills in Adobe, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sage Timeslips.
