Role Summary: The Healthcare Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of a bustling outpatient wound care facility. This position encompasses a variety of front office responsibilities and general administrative tasks to support the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in team meetings to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Welcome patients and visitors, managing incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collect and verify patient insurance details, including pre-certifications and authorizations, and accurately input data into relevant systems.
  • Record and process patient charges, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation as required.
  • Prepare monthly patient feedback data and related documentation for provider review.
  • Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring completeness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule additional testing with various hospital departments.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability of necessary medical materials.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Prior experience in medical coding is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position typically ranges from $14.91 per hour.
