We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images, adhering to infection control and safety practices.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in training and education of new staff members.
- Perform non-technical duties as assigned, such as stocking rooms and transporting patients.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; ARRT certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a staff technologist; 1 year of experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively with others.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of RIS systems.
