Job Summary

We are seeking a caring Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will facilitate daily living activities, aid in mobility, and complete data collection and daily reports.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dining skills, housekeeping skills, social skills, and community access.
  • Aid in mobility as needed for individuals using wheelchairs and other assistive devices.
  • Complete data collection, observation notes, and daily reports as directed by agency policy and procedure.
  • Assist consumers in transportation as needed.
  • Participate in and may be responsible for the daily operation of the home in one or more of the following areas: grocery shopping, overseeing consumers' money, monitoring of the physical plant and van maintenance, or monitoring of the house medications.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Satisfactory completion of criminal background.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record is preferred.
