Job Overview
Northern Iron and Machine, a leading manufacturing company in Lawton Standard, seeks a skilled HR Generalist to join our team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our organization. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support in various areas, including benefits, wellness, employee relations, recruitment, compensation, and training.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing environment. A degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, but not required. If you are a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate the effective hiring of qualified applicants for production and skilled labor positions.
  • Administer all company benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, short and long term disability, worker compensation, COBRA, and FMLA.
  • Provide support and assistance to employees regarding benefit issues and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate enrollment of all participants and ensure proper documentation and communication of all plan options.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft software.
