Job Title: Fostering Prevention Program Manager

FosterAdopt Connect is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fostering Prevention Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the Fostering Prevention program, providing support and guidance to the team, and ensuring the program's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Fostering Prevention program and provide support and guidance to the team.
  • Monitor workload and ensure the program's effectiveness.
  • Complete employee evaluations and identify training needs for the team.
  • Assist with home visits and follow-up meetings, and ensure parents have proper support and advocacy.
  • Coordinate support groups and trainings for parents served, and provide assistance with outside referrals and internal FAC referrals.
  • Ensure initial narrative process requirements are followed, and review and approve client narratives, action plans, and documentation.
  • Occasional travel within KS and MO for training and presentations, and attend/participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional memberships.
  • Build community connections to increase program referrals, and contribute to agency culture and performance improvement outcomes.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and directions for future systemic advocacy efforts, and participate in community networking opportunities promoting FAC's programs, partnerships, and sponsorship.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field, and 2+ years of experience working in non-profit social service agencies with management experience.
  • Previous child welfare experience required, with 2 years preferred.
  • Experience working with at-risk populations, and resourcefulness in setting priorities and creating efficiencies.
  • Organizational and planning skills, commitment to principles of support and advocacy for parents/caregivers, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust.
  • Understanding of program development, implementation, and evaluation, and flexibility and adaptability working with a wide range of cultures, people, and organizations.
