Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Hospice Administrator to join our team at Phoenix Home Care and Hospice. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the overall operations of our hospice services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day administration of our hospice program, ensuring the availability and provision of high-quality care to our patients.
  • Organizing and directing the organization's operations to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Implementing governing body directives, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and excellence in care.
  • Ensuring adequate staff education and training to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Performance evaluations and staff development to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conflict and complaint management and resolution to maintain a positive reputation and relationships with patients, families, and staff.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication to ensure seamless care coordination and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Active RN license required.
  • At least 2 years of hospice experience, with a strong background in leadership and administration.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations governing hospice care.
  • Business acumen and professional relationships specific to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice's mission and values.
  • Ability to demonstrate self-confidence, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate personal strengths and weaknesses, as well as those of others, to promote growth and development.
  • Ability to supervise objectively and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
