We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced eICU Nurse to join our team at the University of Kentucky. As a member of our collaborative care team, you will be responsible for providing continuous vigilance and tele-nursing care to critically ill adults across multiple ICUs at various hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill adults
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in a timely and effective manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and reduce morbidity and mortality
- Current Kentucky RN state licensure
- Three or more years of recent experience as an ICU nurse in the specialty field of adult critical care
- Two or more years of experience in a clinical role, which required effectively communicating and collaborating with healthcare professionals
- Current BLS-Provider course completion
- Current ACLS-Provider course completion
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing plus 5 years (3 years of adult critical care experience)
