Client Services Associate

Complete Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist and provide information to clients regarding all business, income, and real estate taxes along with associated fees;

Respond to inquiries concerning basic business registration, income, and real estate through telephone and written communication;

Investigate, establish, and update all business tax accounts utilizing an online platform;

Review and amend business registration, real estate, and income tax accounts that necessitate corrections and/or refunds;

Receive and manage business and income undeliverable refund checks;
Process requests for waivers of penalties and interest on selected accounts;

Accurately input and update existing databases;
Identify and register applicable tax obligations for all taxes and fees administered by the organization;

i. Receive and respond to general correspondence related to business, income, real estate, and other associated taxes and fees;

Research and prepare responses for management review;
Track and maintain data essential for production reports, and
Accurately input and update existing databases.

Qualifications:
a) A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field or a related area;

b) Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse audience;

c) Ability to research and interpret tax laws, regulations, and policies; and
d) Proficiency in basic business applications including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
