Project Overview:

Join our team at Semco Maritime, where we are engaged in international energy initiatives, particularly focusing on the burgeoning Polish renewable energy sector. This market is rapidly evolving, with numerous wind energy projects anticipated to enhance offshore wind energy production significantly. Your role as a Project Buyer will be integral to our Procurement Organization, collaborating closely with various teams to support procurement operations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Requisition-to-Purchase Order process using IFS.
  • Oversee the sourcing of goods and services for renewable energy projects.
  • Expedite orders to guarantee timely deliveries.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications related to procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records in IFS, including orders, invoices, and supplier details.
  • Coordinate with project team members and document communications effectively.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate document templates for projects.

  • Maintain accurate data within IFS and other company systems.
  • Establish a coherent document structure within project management tools.
  • Plan and prioritize work assignments effectively.
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Meet customer requirements consistently.
  • Actively participate in project activities.

Qualifications:

Professional Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Procurement and Sourcing within renewable energy, offshore/onshore wind, or oil & gas sectors.
  • Experience in Expediting and Logistics.
  • Knowledge of Supplier and Contract Management.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Experience in Tendering processes.
  • Ability to identify and communicate potential areas for improvement.
