Hotel Front Desk Agent Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional customer service and manage all aspects of guest accommodation at our Holiday Inn Express Durango location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Registration: Register guests, collect necessary information, and assign rooms.
  • Reservation Management: Manage online and phone reservations, and confirm group bookings.
  • Customer Service: Provide information about hotel amenities, rates, and services, and respond to client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Room Maintenance: Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean and tidy.
  • Upselling: Offer additional facilities and services to guests, when appropriate.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Requirements:
  • Work Experience: Previous experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel reservations software, such as OPERA PMS, and understanding of travel planning websites.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a customer service attitude.
