Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay informed on Federal and State employment regulations to ensure compliance and educate team leaders effectively.
  • Collaborate with store management to implement human resources best practices.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, focusing on high turnover areas to enhance hiring strategies.
  • Facilitate regular employee benefit education sessions.
  • Partner with the Regional HR Manager and Operations Management to conduct comprehensive employee relations investigations.
  • Support the HR department with various research and special projects as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the New Mexico Regional Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
  • Experience in conducting employee relations investigations or a Bachelor's degree in HR Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in public speaking is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work primarily in an office environment with occasional visits to dealership settings.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move around facilities as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% annually within the assigned market.
  • Must maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Record in accordance with company policy.
