Medical Device Service Specialist

Solventum is a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Medical Device Service Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Device Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our healthcare clients, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery, pickup, and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customers, including patients and hospital staff, by providing superior customer service and customer-centric solutions.
  • Execute timely and accurate order management using company-issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Obtain and evaluate all information regarding service and product inquiries, providing prompt responses and follow-up as needed.
  • Assist customers in researching and locating missing or misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle to support equipment delivery, retrieval, and onsite customer service requirements.
  • Prepare best-in-class medical device equipment, including cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation, and routine maintenance.
  • Organize and execute assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer expected timeframes for service.
  • Track inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies, and coordinate delivery and retrieval of products with customers.
  • Accurately prepare, pack, ship, and receive inbound and outbound shipments using 3rd-party partners, and load and unload medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Follow all work and safety instructions, conform to Company and Departmental policies and procedures, and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a customer-facing or service-related field.
  • Current, valid Driver's License.

Additional Requirements:

In this role, you may be required to enter healthcare or other third-party facilities, which may require certain licenses, vaccinations, and/or other credentials or qualifications for regulatory, safety, or other business reasons. Solventum may share your information with the providers of medical screens, vaccinations, or verifications, as well as the healthcare or other third-party facilities requiring these prerequisites to entry.

Work Location: Onsite In-Service Territory

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic (including potential for meetings or other business functions that require commercial air travel)

Relocation Assistance: Relocation is not authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Compensation: The expected compensation range for this position is $44,064 - $53,857, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible.
