We are seeking a skilled Journeymen Chiller Mechanic to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests, and recommending necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong the equipment life cycle of our customers' equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute contract maintenance visits, inspections, and site assessments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Provide quote estimates for labor and material repairs and upgrades as needed.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Represent the company as the direct customer contact and be responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at customer locations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Continually enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company-issued and procured assets.
  • Work as part of a team dedicated to delivering the highest standard of service to all customers, which may require flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires.

Requirements:

  • Valid Red Seal Refrigeration and A/C certification.
  • Valid ODS certification.
  • More than 5 years of commercial, industrial, and/or institutional experience with all types of chillers, various compressor technologies, chiller control systems, and speed drives.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers.
  • Adherence to company safety program.
