Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Manager to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living in Mount Vernon, NY. As a Senior Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner
  • Review and document medication administration records
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director
  • Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISP)/Individualized Care Plans (ICP)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA/British Columbia Workers Compensation Act and Occupational Health and Safety Regulation requirements
Requirements
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid
  • Ability to make choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interest
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm in difficult situations
  • Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
