Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Care Professional to join our team as a Medication Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring the highest degree of quality care and services for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and document any changes or concerns
  • Conduct regular reviews of medication lists to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to receive updates on medication changes or new orders
  • Participate in daily Cross Over meetings to discuss resident care and concerns
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

Requirements

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior care setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment
