Care Manager Job Summary

Our Care Managers play a vital role in providing the highest degree of quality care and services to a consistent group of residents and their families in our assisted living and reminiscence neighborhoods.

As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for building meaningful relationships with our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and collaborating with our community team to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities:
  • Build Meaningful Relationships: Get to know our residents and their unique preferences and personalities.
  • Deliver High-Quality Care: Assist with activities of daily living, notify management of changes in condition, and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.
  • Collaborate with Our Team: Work closely with our community team to ensure seamless care and promote a positive living environment.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Participate in the development of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and monthly updates.
  • Maintain Safety Standards: Partner with our community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to dining needs of residents and guests while maintaining Sunrise hospitality and service standards.
  • Inspire Residents: Invite, Encourage, and Assist (IEA) residents in life skills and other life-enriching activities as indicated on their ISP and demographic profile.

What We Offer:

We offer competitive compensation based on geographic location, skills, experience, qualifications, and certifications/licenses (where applicable). The estimated salary range for this position is $40,000-$60,000 per year. We also provide benefits and other compensation that include:

  • Daily Pay offered to get paid within hours of a shift (offered in the U.S. only)

Qualifications:

  • Dedication to Serving Seniors: Demonstrated passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive Attitude and Flexibility: Ability to perform various duties in service to residents and work in a team environment.
  • High School Diploma/GED Accepted: May be required per state regulations.
  • Previous Experience Working with Seniors Preferred: Ability to make choices, decisions, and act in the resident's best interest.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Possess a level of understanding and competent in organizational and time management skills.
  • Good Judgment, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making Skills: Demonstrate the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
