Automotive Parts Sales Specialist

Are you looking for a career change that will challenge you and provide opportunities for growth? We are a dealership that values its employees and customers alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers at the parts counter and by phone to sell automotive parts.
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure accuracy and pricing.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, notifying the parts manager of out-of-stock parts.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders.
  • Notify the service advisor and customer when special-ordered parts arrive.
  • Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and return items to vendors or stock them.
  • Replenish assigned inventory daily and assist outside sales representatives with orders.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
  • Issue credit for parts returned and maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices, and special-order parts.
