About the Role

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our senior leadership team as Director of People Experience. In this role, you will lead the People Experience team, overseeing critical compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culture and Engagement: Promote and support KMHS's Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Code of Conduct policies across the organization. Demonstrate personal and professional ethics, and ensure the People Experience team aligns with these values.
  • Workforce Management: Oversee the administration of People Experience operations, including compensation, benefits, employee relations, and professional development. Collaborate with the CFO/CAO to implement strategic staffing plans aligned with the agency's budget and priorities.
  • Compensation and Performance Management: Analyze compensation trends and benefits offerings to ensure KMHS remains competitive in attracting talent. Align performance evaluation systems with clinical and operational goals and facilitate staff development programs.
  • Compliance: Lead the development and implementation of key policies, processes, and training to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Expert-level experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex systems and/or teams in large organizations, knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, and generating professional documents and reports.
  • Ability to positively represent KMHS values in the workplace, online, and community, and employing exceptional customer service and communication skills.
