Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Healthcare Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new sales leads, and communicating with customers to understand their product or service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and hold others accountable to the Barnes culture and act as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.
- Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
Requirements
- A BS/BA degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Clinical degree, licensure, or experience preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Working Conditions
- Prolonged periods outside of the office meeting with prospects and clients.
- Responding to inquiries and calls during and outside of normal business hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
