Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, identifying new sales leads, and communicating with customers to understand their product or service needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and hold others accountable to the Barnes culture and act as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.
  • Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrate the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolve any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
  • Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
  • Provide periodic territory sales forecasts.
Requirements
  • A BS/BA degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Clinical degree, licensure, or experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Working Conditions
  • Prolonged periods outside of the office meeting with prospects and clients.
  • Responding to inquiries and calls during and outside of normal business hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
