Job Responsibilities:

This position acts as a vital partner to Brokers, delivering exceptional support for all policies and key accounts. The role focuses on providing high-quality service to agents and insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond swiftly to all inquiries from the brokerage team, underwriters, or retailers concerning account servicing matters.
  • Assist with renewals and endorsements by managing all company correspondence promptly.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and underwriters to foster new and ongoing business connections.
  • Oversee all account documentation.
  • Initiate and coordinate renewal processes for assigned accounts.
  • Issue cancellation and non-renewal notifications in accordance with statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Review policies, endorsements, audits, reporting forms, and cancellations, initiating necessary corrections to ensure accuracy in dates, coverage, signatures, commissions, premiums, and attachments.
  • Facilitate effective communication between agents and underwriters.
  • Maintain a suspense system and follow up on the receipt of policies, endorsements, and correspondence from external sources.
  • Process binders, invoices, and tax filings, forwarding binders and invoices to the agent.
  • Monitor financial aspects (payments, collections, taxes, etc.), proactively anticipating and addressing potential issues.
  • Support Brokers with various tasks as needed.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in the insurance industry.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of retail insurance experience.
  • Possession of a Texas Insurance License.
  • Experience as a Technical Assistant or three years of general insurance experience.
  • Ability to comprehend and analyze essential components of insurance policies.
  • Capability to make independent decisions in line with company guidelines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the insurance sector.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and tact in all interactions.
  • Leadership skills to positively influence fellow assistants.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient computer and office skills.
  • Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • A college degree with a focus on business or equivalent work experience.
Benefits Overview:

All regular employees (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though specific eligibility may vary based on the division of CRC Group offering the position.

All regularly scheduled employees (not temporary or contingent workers), regardless of hours worked, can contribute to a 401(k) savings plan, with eligibility for company matching contributions after one year of service and reaching age 21.

Employees receive a minimum of 10 days of vacation (prorated based on hire date and full-time or part-time status) during their first year, in addition to 10 sick days (also prorated) and paid holidays.
