Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Lee Health. As a key member of our front-end medical office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient appointments, scheduling, and check-in processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and process pre-certifications and referrals.
  • Prepare and post charges, collect initial payments, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or diploma in a related field preferred.
  • Less than 1 year of clerical/administrative experience required; insurance and customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire.
