The Opportunity:

The Packaging Engineering Associate Manager will play a crucial role in assisting the Package Engineering team with the formulation and implementation of packaging strategies that promote innovation, sustainability, and cost efficiency. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure the successful introduction of new products and the improvement of existing offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of packaging projects that align with New Product Development, sustainability goals, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including Brand, Sales, Product Development, Operations, and Creative, to ensure cohesive packaging requirements and specifications.
  • Engage with external partners to identify and procure packaging components that meet aesthetic, quality, and functional standards within project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Participate in packaging development initiatives, including creating packaging briefs, specifications, and testing protocols, managing timelines, overseeing artwork and Pre-Production Sample requests and approvals, distributing and tracking standards, maintaining product specification spreadsheets, and managing sample requests.
  • Analyze and assess packaging materials and structures to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contribute to sustainability efforts by identifying opportunities for packaging optimization and waste reduction, supporting the company's overarching sustainability objectives.
Qualifications:

What You Will Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Package Engineering or a similar role, preferably within the Consumer Goods or Cosmetic Industry.
  • A balanced approach that emphasizes both professional achievement and personal well-being.
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, development processes, and quality standards.
  • Willingness to work on-site, collaborating closely with our dynamic team to drive packaging innovations.
