Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed scopes of loss and estimates for construction projects and property insurance claims.
  • Prepare, negotiate, document, and secure approval for project scopes with insurance adjusters and property owners.
  • Manage contracts, job files, estimates, change orders, and related documentation.
  • Ensure all relevant contracts and paperwork are organized and stored appropriately.
  • Oversee financial aspects including invoicing, payment requests, and final settlements.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for mortgage and escrow accounts and liaise with administrative staff.
  • Upon receiving approvals, communicate with administration regarding job updates and closures.
  • Build a network of skilled trades to enhance the services offered by Paul Davis.
  • Create budgets for project managers to adhere to during the repair process.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial objectives are met during job execution.
  • Achieve or surpass annual sales targets while maintaining healthy profit margins.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction ratings.
  • Meet or exceed RMS scoring metrics.
  • Set and accomplish annual sales objectives.
  • Stay informed on insurance trends and claims adjustments.
  • Enhance knowledge of industry technologies, building materials, and current construction trends.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the insurance industry and trends in claims management.
  • Knowledge of building materials, innovative products, and construction technologies.
  • Commitment to maintaining and obtaining relevant IICRC certifications as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet pre-employment requirements.

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with Xactimate and Symbility is essential.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in building construction.
  • Compensation will be commensurate with experience, including potential bonuses and commissions based on performance.

Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional standing, walking, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to climb ladders and perform balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling tasks.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to work in environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Willingness to enter areas affected by fire, smoke, mold, or sewage.
