Key Responsibilities:

The Head of Capital Planning and Resolution will be responsible for managing and overseeing capital stress testing documentation, including policies, summary of results, effective challenge packages, model inventory catalogue, process flow, procedures, and analytical reports as necessary.

About the Team:

Our client is a mid-tier high-growth commercial bank with offices based in New York and New Jersey. They offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $160,000 - $220,000 per year, plus benefits and bonuses. Our client also offers a hybrid work-from-home arrangement, allowing employees to balance their work and personal life.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in banking, preferably in treasury, finance, risk management, or similar fields. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field is required. An MBA or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.

In this role, you will work closely with the management team to identify business needs and develop strategies to address them. You will also collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals. Proven experience in capital planning and resolution is a must, as well as knowledge of financial regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and overseeing capital stress testing documentation
  • Collaborating with the management team to identify business needs and develop strategies to address them
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Leading development of strategic data capabilities to support timely availability of key information in the resolution plan
  • Designing and producing presentations for Executive Management, Board of Directors, Supervisory Examiners, Lines of Businesses, and other key stakeholders
