At Hillsborough County, we are seeking a seasoned Employee & Labor Relations Partner to join our dynamic team. This role is more than just an administrative function – you'll serve as a strategic partner influencing countywide policies and improvements that affect over 6,000 employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret policies and collective bargaining agreements, providing clear and concise guidance.
  • Manage relationships between the Union, Management and Employees.
  • Conduct supervisory and employee training.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary investigations, labor-management meetings.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year degree granting college or university with a major in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Law.
  • Five years of experience In Employee Relations and Labor Relations, some of which may also include Conflict Resolution, HR Policy Development, Performance Management Training, and Legal Compliance.
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP or a similarly recognized certification in Human Resource Management is preferable.
