As a Payroll Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of payroll tasks, including establishing and maintaining accurate employee and payroll records, executing payroll processing, production, and producing accurate and timely payroll payments to employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payroll processing, production, and payment to employees in a timely and accurate manner.
- Establish and maintain accurate employee and payroll records, including employee data, payroll history, and benefits information.
- Closely follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and other departments, to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and management to escalate compliance issues and provide payroll-related updates.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business or finance.
- Payroll designation (CPP) or equivalent experience.
- Office 365 experience preferred.
