Purpose and Scope
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting, and executing intricate financial, administrative, and accounting methodologies for comprehensive financial assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct specialized analyses to evaluate financial activities and formulate recommendations for policies and procedures.
  • Interpret and apply relevant policies, governmental regulations, and accounting principles.
  • Ensure adherence to internal protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Provide insights on financial policies, governmental regulations, accounting theories, or customer financial guidelines.
  • Analyze financial data to assess current and future financial performance.
  • Act as a liaison between the program controls team and prepare comparative evaluations of actual costs versus budgeted amounts.
  • Review complex financial information submitted by managers for inclusion in indirect and forward pricing rate proposals to governmental entities.
  • Advise management on cost-saving initiatives, profit enhancement opportunities, and strategies for improving profitability.
  • Develop plans, including budgets and timelines, to fulfill contractual and project obligations.
  • Coordinate, negotiate, and resolve financial compliance matters with various agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Accountant.
  • Proficiency in finance and accounting relational databases is essential.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and/or Deltek is preferred.
  • A results-oriented individual with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
