We are seeking a highly skilled Development Director to join our team at Sixteenth Street Community Health Center. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement fundraising plans to increase individual, foundation, and corporate giving, as well as event and grant funding.
- Prepare narratives for touch points and impact reports to showcase our organization's impact.
- Evaluate fundraising campaigns and analyze activities for overall effectiveness.
- Draft and lead creation of donor communications to Major and Planned Gift Donors.
- Work with staff and board members to identify and pursue funding sources and prospects.
- Meet with and develop donor relationships using prospect research tools and our database.
- Coordinate donor meetings and prepare necessary presentation materials.
- Manage our donor database, ensuring accuracy of gift entry and reporting.
- Collaborate with other agencies on fundraising activities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but we will consider individuals with 3-5 years of development experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of fund development experience with proven success in all facets of annual giving.
- Outstanding written communication skills and experience in donor cultivation.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and experience in meeting with top administrators, executives, and community leaders.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, problem-solving, managing people and budgets.
- Ability to work on selected weeknights and weekends as required.
- Ability to handle confidential matters and information.
- Experience with fundraising and data management systems; Donor Perfect is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
