About the Role

Hometown America Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Landmark Naples. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for ensuring the community's common buildings, common areas, and leased homes are well-maintained and presentable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Appearance: Ensure the community meets our high standards of curb appeal and is inviting to residents and visitors.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks in community common areas, including power washing, pest control, and landscaping.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with the supervisor and other team members to achieve customer expectations and ensure ongoing operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow safety procedures at all times, including safely operating equipment and vehicles when moving from site to site and picking up supplies.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a professional, courteous rapport with all residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in landscaping, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and hand tools is preferred.
  • Seasonal Temperatures: Ability to work in a variety of seasonal temperatures as the role requires outdoor work.
  • Initiative and Flexibility: Take initiative and have the flexibility to work well independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Flexible Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or other times outside of normal business hours for emergency situations.
  • Criminal Background and Driving Record Checks: Our hiring process includes criminal background and driving record checks.
  • Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license from the state where the community is located is required before driving a company-owned vehicle or before driving a personal vehicle on company business.
