Job Summary

The Moorings Park Institute Incorporated is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Building Operations to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the overall condition of our facilities.
  • Identify and report deficiencies in our buildings and grounds, and work with our team to implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs, and complete work within scheduled time frames and budgets.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools, and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Communicate effectively with our team members, residents, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide data and reports as requested to support our facilities management efforts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical education preferred.
  • Minimum one year's experience in building maintenance or construction.
  • Certification, license, or equivalent as required under state and/or local regulations to operate or repair certain equipment.
  • State-issued driver's license with a driving record clear of infractions as defined by current insurance mandates.
