Transportation Solutions Specialist

At Drivergent Transportation, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our management team to assist our clients' transportation needs and help drive our continued growth strategy.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers in making reservations, providing excellent customer service, collaborating with other departments to ensure a great customer experience, processing reservations, and handling customer inquiries and concerns.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, with reservation handling experience being a plus. You will also need to be highly proficient in using computers and programs such as Chrome, Microsoft Excel, and Word, and have excellent listening and communication skills.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18-$23 per hour, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health benefits, and a 401k plan with company match.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in making reservations, including quoting and booking transportation
  • Provide excellent customer service by being timely with quotes and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a great customer experience
  • Process reservations and make necessary modifications
  • Map out and work with dispatch to ensure accurate and efficient allocation of resources
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist with post-trip processes, including customer follow-up and invoicing


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience
  • Reservation handling experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college a plus


Preferred Skills:

  • High proficiency in using computers and programs such as Chrome, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently or with a team, manage ambiguity, and ask for guidance when necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills


Location:

  • Headquarters (Fraser, MI)


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $18-$23 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift M-F, with some overtime as needed
  • Weekend support as needed
