About Drivergent Transportation

Drivergent Transportation is a leading school transportation company in Metro Detroit seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Reservations Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in assisting our clients with their transportation needs and helping drive our continued growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in making reservations, including quoting and booking transportation services
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being timely with quotes and follow-ups
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Process reservations and make necessary modifications
  • Work with the dispatch department to ensure accurate and efficient allocation of resources
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist with post-trip processes, including customer follow-up and invoicing

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
  • Reservation handling experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college education a plus

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • High proficiency in using computers and programs such as Chrome, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Experience using QuickBooks
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, manage ambiguity, and ask for guidance when necessary
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal

Compensation and Benefits

  • $18 - $23 per hour, based on experience
  • Full-time position
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision, after 90 days

Work Schedule

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with some overtime as needed
  • Weekend support as needed
