This role is essential for enhancing revenue at designated Sherwin-Williams locations within a specified geographic area by executing sales and marketing initiatives, conducting training sessions, and managing service and merchandising tasks.

Qualifications
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related discipline (e.g., Sales, Business Management, Marketing, etc.).
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or a related Business field.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, with up to 9 Saturdays annually.
A valid driver's license is necessary.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Preferred:
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Experience in delivering presentations to groups.
Background in sales, customer service, or merchandising.
Ability to work independently.
Experience with P&L and budget management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be capable of sitting, standing, hearing, and seeing consistently.
Must frequently walk, write, and type.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is required.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs.
Occasional bending, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling is necessary.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Work may occur indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions.
Must be able to tolerate noise levels that may require hearing protection.
Exposure to dust and dirt may occur.
Work surfaces may include concrete.
Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone.
Some travel to other locations for meetings and seminars may be required.
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Ability to learn to operate in-store tinting machines.
Proficiency in using an iPhone and computer.
Preferred:
Previous experience in paint or coatings is advantageous.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel may be required 50% of the time or more, depending on the geographic region.
Responsibilities
Sales:
Develop strong relationships with store associates, management, and district managers.
Consistently promote and represent the brand and product strengths to associates and customers, identifying competitive advantages and weaknesses.
Utilize the CRM system to document sales interactions and store visits, while gathering competitor intelligence.
Organize contractor events to promote products and drive sales.
Ensure that promotions, pricing, and signage are accurately displayed in each store.
Prepare an Annual Growth Plan (AGP) for assigned stores that meet or exceed sales and profit objectives.
Training:
Conduct product knowledge training sessions for current and newly hired associates, covering features, benefits, and selling techniques, including product demonstrations.
Provide sales training for new and existing associates.
Deliver training on promotional displays and effective customer interactions.
Train associates on equipment usage, including tinting machines.
Address and resolve product, service, or inventory issues at the store level.
Service:
Assist store associates with paint tinting and mixing as required.
Conduct a thorough review of all products to ensure proper stocking and display, replacing any defective items.
Make sales calls to local contractors and builders to enhance pro-paint sales, dedicating approximately 10% of weekly time to this task.
Merchandising / Displays:
Maintain store signage, merchandising displays, and color collateral.
Order inventory of marketing materials to ensure adequate stock.
Miscellaneous
Responsibilities:
Manage P&L, focusing on expense management and tracking.
Support fellow Sales Representatives as needed.
Participate in required conference calls and training sessions.
Complete necessary paperwork and reports promptly, including mileage tracking and expense reporting.
