The ProMedica Finnegan Family Autism Center is a leading provider of early intensive behavioral intervention services for children with Autism. Our Autism Early Learning Program (AELP) offers a comprehensive approach to addressing skills in communication/language, play, socialization, behavior, and adaptive skills. Our team of professionals prioritizes collaboration and provides extensive initial and continuing in-house training to behavior technicians. We focus on providing a supportive environment for children to thrive and celebrate each milestone along the way.

**Job Summary:**

The Behavior Technician will assist in delivering behavior analysis services to children with Autism under the direction and close supervision of the behavior analyst. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care with compassion and partnership with each individual child, their team, and their family.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Implement approved ABA treatment plans, including skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction programs.
* Track and record child progress by maintaining daily records, including daily data collection on all goals and writing objective session notes.
* Participate in supervising and maintaining safety of children in all activities, both in and out of the center.
* Maintain professional communication with families through authorized daily notes.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the learning environment daily.
* Assist with program needs that enhance performance, such as creating new materials and reading pertinent research.

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and demonstrate patience with students
* Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or obtain within the 90-day introductory period
* CPR certification
