Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Coordinator, RN to join our team at Northside Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities within the hospital on an assigned shift or tour of duty.
- In the absence of the President and/or his designated representative, serve as the highest official on duty and ensure the continuity of patient care services and other administrative activities.
- Develop and implement effective patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care services to ensure high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and hospital operations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure effective patient care and hospital operations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with at least 2 years in a critical care setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role, with a focus on patient care and hospital operations.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, management principles and methods, and hospital policies and procedures.
- ACLS provider training completed or required within 1 year of position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
