Overview

PALFINGER AG is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead our West territory team. This exciting opportunity involves developing and expanding existing sales, building strong relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus commission. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and short- and long-term disability (depending upon state). We also provide a 401(k) plan with company match, wellness program, paid Company holidays, and paid Personal Time Off (PTO).

About the Role

This Regional Sales Manager position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual who can effectively manage and develop a team of sales professionals in the West territory. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, with a proven track record of success in expanding sales and building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability in the West territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including leasing companies, fleets, and trailer businesses.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including negotiating contracts and influencing others to achieve a positive outcome.
  • Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and guidance to ensure they meet or exceed their sales targets.
  • Analyze sales statistics and data to inform sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and industry events to promote products and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record of success in expanding sales and building strong client relationships.
  • Experience managing and developing a team of sales professionals, with a focus on motivation and performance improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the U.S. to meet with clients and attend industry events.
