Position Summary:
The role of the Process Development Engineer involves enhancing and refining manufacturing workflows through the organization and innovation of product and production methodologies. Utilizing technical expertise and industry knowledge, the engineer will assess current manufacturing practices and devise cost-effective production strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for components created by the Mechanical Engineering team.
  • Utilize Pro-Engineer CAD/CAM software to generate CNC programming.
  • Establish product structures for effective production management.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes by designing and executing production programs, leveraging knowledge of product design, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Enhance manufacturing efficiency through workflow analysis and machine capability assessment.
  • Ensure product and process quality by creating testing methodologies and confirming manufacturing standards.
  • Provide critical manufacturing data by calculating production costs and reviewing schedules.
  • Maintain operational equipment by coordinating maintenance and adhering to established procedures.
  • Support product and process documentation by collecting and analyzing relevant data.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing processes. Key qualifications include:
  • Strong familiarity with high-precision machining techniques.
  • Experience with complex components and tolerances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD processes, preferably CREO.
  • Experience with ERP systems for data management.
  • Solid understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing methodologies.
  • Mathematical proficiency, including trigonometry and geometry.
