Academic Program Director

Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring and developing a team of high-performing staff members who meet or exceed established outcomes and expectations.
- Conducting timely staff evaluations and observations, utilizing scorecards and development tools to drive growth and improvement.
- Overseeing the strategic hiring, training, and development of administrators and teachers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to excel in their roles.
- Implementing training and development modules to establish a plan for initial training and continued development of each administrator and teacher.
- Planning and executing campus professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Ensuring effective communication between teachers and parents, monitoring and assessing its success.
- Empowering and managing Department Heads to achieve programming goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Delivering a high-quality and measurable academic program for all students, ensuring student records are complete, accurate, and utilized by staff as a resource.
- Meeting or exceeding 90% of students completing MAP and Mindprint testing, with results used by teachers to inform instruction.
- Ensuring course learning outcomes are met and documented, minimum attendance is met, and Mastery Sessions are utilized as needed.
- Utilizing formal and informal assessment and student survey results to facilitate student goal development, develop campus-wide initiatives, and inform campus strategic planning.
- Overseeing academic integrity during transitions, ensuring staff understanding of student learner profiles to inform instruction and implement ongoing Fusion goals.
- Interpreting and sharing measurable academic victories and areas for improvement with staff, parents, and professionals.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree and at least three years of teaching experience, with a focus on monitoring and enhancing an academic program.
- Ability to interpret and apply data to drive decision-making and improve student outcomes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in onboarding, training, and ongoing development of teaching staff and Department Heads.
- Ability to create and execute a vibrant staff culture, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Experience in creating raving fans out of students, parents, teachers, and the community, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support.
