Job Title: Associate Director Quality Improvement

Elwyn is seeking an experienced Associate Director Quality Improvement to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Improvement department, you will be responsible for providing administrative oversight of major segments of our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Review and revise existing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Provide direct oversight of the Quality Improvement (QI) Department in the absence of the Director.
  • Participate in the development and execution of the Adult IDD Services Quality Management Plan and the scoring and assessment of designated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct inspections and audits to ensure continuous improvement of programming and living environment.
  • Lead the auditing and licensing surveys by hosting outside agencies and providing initial documentation.
  • Assist the program administrators and regional directors in developing and coordinating Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
  • Complete investigations as requested and review of investigations to ensure effective and consistent process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services field.
  • Two years of experience in quality improvement activities, such as auditing, training, data analysis, process design, etc.
  • One year of experience working directly with persons with intellectual disabilities or other developmental disabilities.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of California regulations relating to programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Department of Social Service's Community Care Licensing standards and regulations.
