Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, pain clinic, GI lab, urology, and c-arm procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process radiographs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, work independently, and provide technical support to staff and students.
  • Maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Participate in clinical problem-solving, education, and training, and serve as a resource to staff and students.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training beyond high school in radiologic technology.
  • 2 years of experience in a radiologic technologist role.
