Job Summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and c-arm procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, providing radiation protection and safety.
  • Identify patients, label images, and process radiographs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Assist radiologists, work independently, and collaborate with other departments to provide education and support.
  • Prepare and maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
  • Facilitate clinical problem-solving, collaborate with other departments, and serve as a technical resource and role model for students and staff.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in a Radiologic Technologist role.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to stand/walk for the majority of the day and perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling.
