Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level II to join our team in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of radiologic procedures, including general diagnostic, fluoroscopy, pain clinic, GI lab, urology, and c-arm procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
- Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
- Identify patients, label images, and process radiographs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with radiologists, work independently, and provide technical support to staff and students.
- Maintain records, enter patient information into the radiology information system, and document billing codes.
- Participate in clinical problem-solving, education, and training to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
- Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced training in radiologic technology.
- 2 years of experience in a radiologic technologist role.
