Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Take the current payments product and expand it to fit specific school needs, including permissioning, reporting, and payment request mechanisms.
  • Payment Methods: Build new front-end consumer payment methods, such as payment dashboards, payment links in messaging, and payments in posts.
  • Payment Request Mechanism: Develop an industry-defining payment request mechanism to easily solicit payments from parents for any school need.
  • Product Feedback: Work with customers to gather insights and translate their needs into product capabilities, ensuring product-market fit.
  • Leadership Qualities: Demonstrate a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset to identify and exploit opportunities within the market, lead by example, and drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of Product Management experience within SaaS
  • Experience working with B2C consumer payment methods, B2B2C SaaS products, and designing intuitive user experiences
  • Payments product experience, ideally working with Stripe
  • Experience working in K-12 educational technology, ideally producing SaaS for school administrators and officials
  • Proven work experience in product management
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful SaaS product throughout its lifecycle
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders from development, customer success, sales, marketing, and leadership
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
