About the Role

As a Restaurant Operations Director at Great Wolf Lodge, you will oversee all culinary aspects of our resort. This includes menu development, kitchen operations, and ensuring that food meets high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Develop and implement new menus to maximize profits and minimize losses
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food, adhering to health codes and regulations
  • Analyze customer feedback and implement suggestions for improvement
  • Work with the Food & Beverage Director to estimate annual food budget and controllable expenditures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, including supervisory/leadership roles
  • High school degree or equivalent required, culinary education degree preferred
  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role desired
  • Understanding of sanitation-related issues and knowledge of precautions necessary to ensure a clean food preparation environment
