This Lead Teacher position plays a vital role in delivering our mission by managing our classroom environment, developing engaging educational programs, and ensuring the overall well-being of our children.

Responsibilities
  • Manage Classroom Environment: Create a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and growth.
  • Develop Educational Programs: Design and implement developmentally appropriate early education programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Collaborate with Parents: Work closely with parents and families to create a sense of community and provide regular updates on their child's progress.
Requirements
  • Education & Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in ECE preferred.
  • Certifications & Licenses: EDU 119 plus 6 additional credit hours in Early Childhood Education required. Qualifying Letter from NC Division of Child Development and Early Education required.
  • Skillset: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Agency Paid Benefits: Dental insurance with Aetna Dental after 60 days. Agency pays 100% of the premium costs. Life insurance with MetLife. Agency pays 100% of the premium costs. Long-term Disability insurance with MetLife. Agency pays 100% of the premium costs. Vacation & Sick leave pay accrues after 90 days. 401(k) Retirement plan with Mutual of America available after 1 year. Agency contributes an amount equivalent to 6% of your salary each month.
