EveryAge is a non-profit provider of PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) services, owned and operated by a ministry with over 45 years of experience in senior housing and services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Carolina SeniorCare. The successful candidate will provide assistance with activities of daily living and participate in group and one-on-one activities with our participants.

Responsibilities
  • Assist participants with bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, hand and foot nail care, and toileting as assigned or needed.
  • Create and participate in group(s) and one-on-one activities in accordance with the daily activity calendar and as requested by the Director of Activities.
  • Monitor and assist participants with meals at the dining table and prepare meals as needed.
  • Maintain clean and orderly day rooms, kitchen, and personal care areas throughout the day.
  • Accompany participants to medical and other appointments, performing laundry duties as needed.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, along with CPR certification, is preferred. One year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of ADLs and be able to work effectively with culturally, economically, and educationally diverse populations.
